General Administrator

Our Client is currently recruiting a dedicated and organized General Administrator with some experience in debtors' management to join their team.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth administrative operations while assisting with the management of accounts receivable processes.
Key Responsibilities: General Administration: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including managing correspondence, filing, and document preparation.
Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity in internal systems.
Coordinate office supplies and manage inventory.
Schedule and organize meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements as needed.
Handle incoming calls and inquiries professionally and direct them to the appropriate departments.
Assist with the preparation and sending of invoices to customers.
Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely payments.
Follow up on outstanding payments and escalate overdue accounts as necessary.
Reconcile debtor accounts and maintain up-to-date records.
Liaise with customers to resolve queries related to invoicing and payments.
Qualifications and Experience: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in a general administration role is essential.
Basic knowledge of debtors management or accounts receivable processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Skills and Competencies: Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
Basic financial literacy and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar) is an advantage.
