An Award Winning Game Reserve is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join the team. You must have previous experience working on a Large Big 5 Game Reserve managing a Maintenance Team.Must be experienced in the following:Facility ManagementHVAC SystemsPlumbingElectrical SystemsGuest Room MaintenancePool MaintenanceGrounds keepingPest control and managementSafety and Security SystemsSustainability PracticesManagement of waste disposal and recycling programsPreventive Maintenance ProgramsInventory and Budget ManagementManagement of maintenance supplies and inventoryBudgeting for maintenance activities and cost controlTeam ManagementSupervising and training maintenance staffSuppliers and Contractor ManagementCompliance and Safety RegulationsEnsuring all maintenance activities comply with local regulations and safety standardsEmergency ResponseCustomer Service SkillsTechnology and SoftwareApplicants should have an inclination and passion for the technical aspects of a high-end lodge operation.The position is a live-in position working on a 6 week on 2 week off rotation (Single Live in, No Pets).
