Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations:
Assist in the daily management of store operations, including opening and closing procedures.Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with merchandise.Monitor sales floor activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Staff Supervision:
Support the store manager in supervising and training store employees.Help manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.Provide guidance and feedback to team members to improve performance and maintain high morale.Customer Service:
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints.Ensure the sales team provides a positive shopping experience for all customers.Assist in resolving escalated customer issues, ensuring satisfaction.Inventory Management:
Help monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.Work with the receiving team to ensure that new stock is processed and displayed promptly.Sales and Merchandising:
Assist in implementing visual merchandising strategies to attract customers and increase sales.Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving store sales targets.Participate in promotional activities and events to drive customer engagement and sales.Compliance and Safety:
Ensure the store complies with all safety regulations and company policies.Assist in conducting regular safety inspections and addressing any potential hazards.Help maintain security standards to prevent loss and ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.Qualifications:
Education:High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field is a plus.Experience:1-2 years of experience in retail, customer service, or a related field.Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred but not required.Skills:Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and customer service abilities.Good organizational and problem-solving skills.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Working Conditions:
