Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Housekeeper to join their growing guest farm, situated in a serene and remote location near Montagu. This role involves ensuring that the property is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene while delivering excellent service to guests.Location: Ouberg 25km outside MontaguAccommodation: ProvidedKey Responsibilities:Clean and maintain guest rooms, including bed-making, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms.Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens.Draft and communicate weekly shopping lists for housekeeping and supplies.Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests to ensure their needs are met.Oversee and manage the lodge s housekeeping operations on a day-to-day basis.Maintain strict hygiene standards throughout the property, meeting business and guest expectations.Familiarise yourself with operational manuals and house rules, ensuring accurate implementation of guidelines and menus.Requirements to Succeed in the Role:Fluent in English and Afrikaans; additional languages are an advantage.3 5 years of relevant hospitality experience in a similar role.Good knowledge of food and hospitality operations.Valid driver s licence.Knowledge of Montagu and its surrounding areas is beneficial.Skills and Attributes:Strong time management and organisational skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness.This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced housekeeper to be part of a prestigious guest farm.
