We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Foundation Phase Teacher to join our team.
Job Description: As a Foundation Phase Teacher at Victory Christian School, you will play a crucial role in developing young learners' foundational skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
You will create a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for the English language.
Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver effective English lessons that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.Classroom Management: Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters student engagement and respect.Assessment: Assess students' progress regularly through formal and informal methods, providing constructive feedback and support.Individual Support: Identify and address individual student needs, adapting teaching methods and materials to accommodate various learning styles.Parent Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development.Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and methodologies.Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives and activities.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field. A teaching qualification/certification is required. Applicants must be SACE registered.Experience: Previous experience teaching in the Foundation Phase.Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.Proficiency in creating engaging lesson plans and using various teaching tools and technologies.Personal Attributes: Applicants must be active Christians.
