The IIE Varsity College, Cape Town Campushas a vacancy for a Lecturer (Part -Time) for the following module: Marketing (Digital Entrepreneurship)Job Purpose: Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning. Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning.Key Performance Areas: Prepare for lectures based on provided content. Supplement content with own expertise. Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions. Minimum Qualification Requirements: Ideally:A degree/diploma in Information Systems/Computer Science with Marketing up to a second-year levelA 3-year degree or diploma in Digital MarketingAlternatively:A 3-year degree/diploma in one of the other business-related fields (e.g. Business Management, Supply Chain Management) plus completion of Information Technology modules up to a first-year levelA 3-year degree/diploma in Marketing plus completion of Information Technology modules up to a first-year levelBachelor's degree with web programming and marketingWorking Conditions: Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role.Owing to the volume of CVs received, we may not be able to personally contact all applicants.
