Fleet Administrator
Future Motor Lease is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Administrator to join our growing team!
About the Role:
The Fleet Administrator supports effective fleet management by ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. This role involves administrating fleet maintenance, completing administrative tasks, and providing guidance to subordinates. The Fleet Administrator facilitates communication channels, implements corrective measures under the direction of the Fleet Supervisor, and assesses customer service standards. They also contribute to vehicle roadworthiness, manage telematics systems, and assist with insurance claims. Focused on continual enhancement, this role significantly contributes to operational efficiency and improving fleet performance.
Minimum Requirements:

Valid Driver's License
Proficient in MS Office - Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
2 Years experience in an administrative role.

Advantageous Requirements:

2 Years experience in fleet.
Diploma in Logistics, Transport Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Manage the acquisition process for new vehicles, considering factors like budget, repairs, fuel efficiency.
Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance for all vehicles to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.
Monitor the fleet daily.
Always keep vehicles roadworthy.
Ensure the vehicle inspection is carried out with every check in and check out.
Set all service notification reminders and license reminders.
Manage vehicle registration renewals.
Update vehicle mileages on system.
Ensure rental program is updated – booking vehicles off for maintenance, available for rental, etc.
Reporting – daily, weekly, and monthly.
Provide Fleet Analysis.
Compile Incident reports with relevant documents.
Stay contactable telephonically during and after hours.
Booking customers for repairs, service, etc – Managing customer expectations.
Oversee repairs and communicate effectively with mechanics, panel beaters, and suppliers in general.
Ensure all drivers and renters possess the necessary licenses for operating vehicles.
Other reasonable duties requested by managers or stakeholders.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday - 6:45am - 5pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R6500,00 - R10000,00 per month
