Financial Tester

My client based in Bellville (Northern Suburbs) is currently looking for a Financial Tester to join them on a permanent basis.IT / FinanceResponsibilitiesCreating and maintaining test cases for retail workflows with financial impactTest cases must be created to confirm data integrityPositive / Negative test cases to confirm user acceptance criteriaUser and application security requirements are metConfirm software UX is consistentManaging testing across teams and systems (end to end testing)Compose proof of testing reports to the team manager and business when requiredLogging and tracking of defects found from submission to resolutionWork closely with developers to identify and isolate defects in products/systems early in the SDLCProvide support during User Acceptance Testing and Pilot phases in cooperation with other teamsTesting every aspect of the financial impact of the retail workflowFind, report and verify issues on assigned projectsOwn all or part of the testing effort on multiple projects simultaneouslyExperienceMatric5 years' experience in a financial role - preferably in Retail or ManufacturingAn ISTQB certificate or equivalent would be advantageousCompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented, well organized and quick to learnBeing technically competent is preferred although not essential for this roleYou must be comfortable working alone or as part of a teamBe flexible in a quick changing and fast paced work environmentA passion to improve the users experience while being customer focusedThe ability to build trust and partnership with our customers and your colleaguesHaving fun is part of our DNA not something we strive forIf you are ready for the next exciting step in your career, and would like to apply, please send us your updated CV to review.Desired SkillsSoftware DevelopmentTestingSDLC
