About the Role:
We are seeking a high-performing and career-driven Financial Manager to lead our financial strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking professional with a strong analytical mindset, ready to drive financial performance and support our growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with Versus Socks' growth objectives.
Budget Management: Lead the budgeting process, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.
Cost Control & Optimization: Analyze and manage operational costs, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and manage financial risks effectively.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to support decision-making and drive financial success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA(SA) qualification is highly advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
Proficiency in Xero, Dear/Cin7, and Shopify will be highly advantageous.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
