An exciting part-time/half day opportunity is available for a qualified CA(SA) in Westlake, Cape Town, for a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager. You will be working with both organizations and individuals, managing accounting, finance, and contracting functions for a small-to-medium-sized organization. You will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks while solving problems and taking initiative. Responsibilities:
Manage the accounting and finance functions
Reconcile daily, monthly, and yearly transactions
Review and reconcile creditors' accounts and debtors' accounts
Manage the full payroll function
Manage and prepare weekly and ad-hoc payments to suppliers
Manage invoicing of customers and issuing of credit notes
Produce accurate monthly financial reports
Analyze and interpret financial information
Manage the external audit
Assist with budget preparation and cost management
Manage cash flow
Assist with the preparation of organizational taxes
Manage the fixed asset lifecycle and related accounting entries
Monitor business trends and product availability
Support procurement in building relationships with suppliers contracting and operations
Draft, review, send and file various contracts
Ensure assets are appropriately insured and manage the insurance process
Requirements:
CA(SA) or Professional Accountant SA qualification
BCom Accounting degree or related financial qualification
Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles and practices
Experience and proficient in MS Office and MS Excel, accounting software and various technology applications
Experience in the non-profit sector (advantageous)
