Finance Manager: Revenue & Treasury

This position will be responsible for ensuring internal control procedures and systems are in place and maintained to reconcile and record all Revenue and Treasury transactions/activities for Ackermans and Speciality in all countries of operation.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Manager: Support Services and will be part of a structured Finance team. The roles manages the Revenue and Treasury teams with four direct reporting lines.
JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE required:

Experienced forecasting & cost analysis and management reporting
Knowledge of management principles and leadership skills
Good understanding of financial systems and processes and impact across the business
Knowledge of Financial Institution processes and regulations for high level query resolution and compliance
Ensuring optimal service delivery to Ackermans, Pepkor Speciality and Pepkor Group Finance
Good understanding of internal customers' service requirements

Ability to give input, interpret and implement strategy
The ability to give input into company-wide initiatives, understanding the impact of the initiatives on the business as well as the accounting thereof
Make sound financial decisions based on thorough analysis
Strong analytical skills with ability to perform under pressure in a team setting

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential:

5 years financial management and / or financial reporting experience
2+ years people management experience

Preferred:

Experience in a Retail environment

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Essential:

BCom Hons (Accounting, Finance, etc.)

Preferred:

Chartered Accountant (articles)
