The incumbent will be the CFO's right-hand, assisting in developing the business strategies and growing the business in South Africa and Africa. The incumbent must be comfortable with traveling.
Duties:Understand the business holistically and manage financial projects efficiently.Develop and document the financial control environment, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.Manage foreign currency risk and engage proactively with lenders.Review legal agreements and handle corporate finance and tax structuring.Deal with Merger and Acquisitions.Involvement in the direction of the business and advising the CFO accordingly.Involvement in financial modelling and business deals and corporate strategy.Experience and Qualification Requirements:CA(SA)/Chartered Accountant accreditation is essential.5 to 8 years post-articles experience is essential.Experience in the Africa regions is beneficial.Financial services or Retail experience is preferred.If you are interested in this opportunity or similar positions, please apply directly.
