Field Operations Manager

Purpose of the Job: To manage the delivery of client objectives and targets within parameters of responsibility Key Responsibilities: -Supervise and manage a team of field sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support as needed - Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and objectives - Monitor and analyse sales performance and market trends, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement - Conduct regular field visits to assess sales team performance, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and provide feedback and support - Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers to drive sales and increase market share - Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless sales and distribution processes - Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making Grade 12, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field 1-2 Years previous people management experience Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in field sales management, preferably in the FMCG industry Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to think strategically, analyse data, and make informed decisions Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours as needed Valid SA Drivers license and own vehicle If you are a dynamic and results-driven individual with a passion for sales and a proven track record in field management, we would love to hear from you.
