Dry Goods Controller

Key Performance Areas:Excellent Management of dry goods stock/materialControl and limit stock variances including wasteManage the Dry Goods store functions to meet targets and improve operational methodsOversee the efficient loading and offloading of contracted transportEnsure full adherence to health and safety policies and proceduresConduct departmental HSE job observationsEnsure smooth functioning of all aspects of warehouse operationsEnsure competent and motivated subordinatesAssist in employee training, development, and engagementBuild and maintain relationships with key internal customersAdhere to all stock management systemsRequired Experience/Skills:ND: Logistics / Warehousing or equivalent qualification3 – 5 years' experience in controlling/leadership functions in a warehouse environmentExperience/background in a stores/warehousing environmentRelevant experience in management of subordinates/Strong leadership skillsComputer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint (SAP will be advantageous)Dynamic and energetic individualInnovative, analytical, and proactiveEffective communication skills with suppliers and internal customersKnowledge and experience in administrative principlesKnowledge of ISO and HACCP systemsProactive with an eye for problem solving and continuous improvement
