ResponsibilitiesOur client, a leading supplier of food and meat products to the Catering and Hospitality Industries, is looking to appoint an experienced Dispatch and Logistics Manager. The main responsibilities will include:Receiving of stock;The oversight and supervision of quality control, food safety, and health and safety in the warehouse environment;Fleet control and all the issues surrounding that to ensure on-time dispatch of the company's products;Housekeeping to ensure the warehouse is clean and well-organised for optimal functionality;To ensure that all goods and products of the company are dispatched in the correct and time-efficient manner.RequirementsGrade 12;Computer Literacy;Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand Afrikaans & English;Mathematical Ability;Minimum previous experience of 2 years in a Warehouse Environment;Must have own transport;A minimum of code 8 driving license.Desired SkillsMathematical ability;Computer Literacy;Management skills;Warehouse Management;Dispatching;Receiving;Driver's Licence;Afrikaans;Fluent in English.Desired Work Experience2 to 5 years Logistics Management.Desired Qualification LevelGrade 12 / Matric.About The EmployerOur client is a leading supplier of food and meat products to the Catering and Hospitality Industries in the Western Cape and Gauteng.
