The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas The role you'll contribute: Develops, implements and maintains the hospital-wide comprehensive quality assessment and performance improvement program. Provides leadership and direction for implementation, review and revision of the hospital Patient Safety and Performance Improvement Plan. Maintains and administers a framework for continuously monitoring and improving the quality of care and service provided to patients. The Director also assumes shared responsibility, accountability and direction for the patient safety transformation, along with the Director of Patient Safety & Risk Management, in developing a culture of safety and identifying opportunities and initiatives to enhance high reliability and patient safety.
The value you'll bring to the team: · Provides planning, implementation, integration and evaluation of the hospital-wide quality assessment and performance improvement program.
· Provides planning, implementation, integration and evaluation of activities relative to achieving high reliability organizational goals, including robust process improvement, just culture and culture of safety standards.
· Provides planning, implementation, integration and evaluation of the continuous accreditation readiness program including standards and regulatory compliance including project management related to action plans to AHCA/CMS and Joint Commission or DNV.
· Monitors compliance with evolving quality measures including, TJC Oryx Reporting, Leapfrog, CMS's National Hospital Quality Measures, and other benchmarking reporting requirements.
· Monitors Joint Commission or DNV standards, Federal and State regulations, and professional standards and maintains compliance with all clinical regulatory reporting requirements.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed : · Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field
· Minimum five (5) years clinical experience in acute care setting, preferably tertiary setting
· Minimum five (5) years experience in quality and performance improvement
· Leadership experience with working knowledge of Joint Commission or DNV Standards, State and Federal regulations, and professional standards and practice issues.
· Evidence of experience in successful leadership of organizational quality management programs.
· Licensed as RN in State of Florida
