Director: Postgraduate Studies & Postdoctoral Fellowships

Minimum Requirements:- Doctoral degree combined with 10-years' overall experience in higher education. - Demonstrate a tenure of at least 5 years in a senior leadership position, together with a corresponding track record of postgraduate student supervision and hosting of postdoctoral fellows. Reporting directly to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Research, Partnerships & Innovation, you will: - Be a key academic leader responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality of postgraduate programmes and the postdoctoral experience.- Be charged with strategic planning, programme development, and fostering a supportive environment for advanced research, training and scholarship, and collaborate with faculty, students and administrative units.- Ensure the success and growth of postgraduate studies and postdoctoral programs. - Serve as the central point for the coordination, administration, and the development of research capacity development programmes to support postgraduate students. - Be the hub for postdoctoral research fellows, with your focus on supporting and nurturing them.Closing Date: 21 November 2024 To apply: Interested applicants who meet the criteria are invited to:Visit the Website ufh.ac.za/jobs for a more comprehensive advert and send their relevant documents to
