Despatch Manager

Provide leadership and guidance to the dispatch team.
Oversee inventory, truck deliveries, and communicate with clients and contractors.
Prioritize work, resolve dispatching errors, and provide flexible support to meet deadlines, loading and despatching of products and yard housekeeping.
Supervise subordinates including punctuality, discipline, housekeeping and adherence to safety regulations.
Responsible for designating bins for products to be placed in once it has been sorted and to ensure bricks are correctly classified .
Maintaining supply / demand to ensure availability.
Undertake all physical stock counts and provide the Factory Manager with stock verifications.
Operating according to ISO standards.
Recording daily sales against production.
Ensuring that outstanding waybills are accounted for.
To ensure customer orders are despatched efficiently and are in line with Company Administrative and Procedural Requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Matric.
Appropriate tertiary production, technical or related qualification would be preferred.
Brick making knowledge.
Quality awareness.
Computer literacy (JD Edwards system would be an advantage).
Proficiency in English.
Valid Drivers Licence Code 8
