Reference Number: REFS/021747Number of Posts: 1Package: R849 702.00 per annum (all-inclusive package)Enquiries: Caiphus/ Andy, cell: 071 474 7078/51Requirements: Matric plus NQF level 7 /B Degree in Human Resource Management / Development.3-5 years' experience at a middle managerial level in the field of Human Resource Development.Knowledge of Public Service Human Resource Development policies, processes, and prescripts.Knowledge on advising and implementation of Quality Management Systems for skills development.Knowledge on conducting skills development administration and coordinating skills development interventions.Understanding of the SETA landscape and SETA grants requisition processes.Knowledge on the use of the Organising Framework for Occupations (OFO) in skills needs analysis and planning.Strong communication (verbal and non-verbal), active listening, problem-solving, time management, and leadership skills.Attention to detail, prioritising, time management, coordinating resources, and effective task delegation.A valid driver's licence.Duties: Advise the ETD committee on Skills Development matters.Manage implementation of the Workplace Skills Plan and compile training reports for submission to oversight bodies.Manage the internal staff bursary program and debt recovery & service obligation processes.Develop and update the department's qualifications profile.Compile and manage implementation of the internship programme intake plan.Coordinate the development of the HRD MTEF strategic plan and manage the implementation of the annual HRD priority plan.Develop terms of reference for the Education, Training and Development Committee (ETDC).Manage the design and roll-out of the internal Induction and orientation programme.Compile Performance Moderation Reports for approval by the HoD.Advise management and supervisors on the management of poor performance.Compile PMDS compliance reports for salary levels 1 to 15, indicating remedial action to address non-compliance.Establish sound relations with all relevant stakeholders.Manage HRD learning and training providers.Develop the Sub-Directorate's annual operational plan.Notes: It is our intention to promote representivity (race, gender, and disability) in the Public Service through the filling of these posts.
