Deputy Constable – Duties: Patrols service area and responds to calls for service.Enforces criminal and traffic laws.Conducts criminal investigations.Makes lawful arrests, writes reports, testifies in court.Collaborates with other law enforcement, supports victims, builds relationships in the community. Qualifications to apply: TCOLE Certification or currently enrolled in a TCOLE Police Academy.High School Diploma/GED.Be of good moral character.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to interact in a professional manner with the public.Valid driver license.Firearms proficiency or ability to pass firearms qualification. SALARY RANGE: $32.94 - $41.18 hourly based on qualifications ($68,515 - $85,654 yearly)
