Debriefing Clerk

To provide support to drivers after the completion of transport drops.
The successful candidate will report to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager.
QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Educational Qualifications:
• Grade 12 (NQF 4)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a clerk in a manufacturing environment.
Major Responsibilities and Key Results AreasDebriefing and Administration:
• Reconcile purchase orders, collect documentation, and manage re-deliveries according to trip sheets and proof of deliveries.
• Ensure each purchase order contains the correct date, full name, and signature of the Receiving Clerk.
• Maintain accurate administration, records, and reconciliations.
• Address any driver or delivery issues that arise during the shift.
• Manage receiving and dispatch issues promptly.
Compliance:
• Operate within established controls and procedures to maintain integrity.
• Report risks or concerns to management within your operating area.
• Promote compliance with all regulations and procedures to avoid fruitless, wasteful, and irregular expenditure.
Customer Service:
• Provide assistance to employees and maintain effective working relationships.
• Identify and solve problems in line with core values.
Cost and Waste Control:
• Help limit and control costs by minimizing damage, loss, or waste.
• Report incidents to the direct manager.
