Role Overview: A career opportunity has arisen in the Debrief Department – Premier CDC Lords View– Midrand . The position is responsible to supervise and lead the team to ensure cost effective debriefing processes and managing warehouse damages in line with company standards and requirements.
Main Responsibilities: To support good financial controls and customer relations by supervising the team responsible for the daily execution of processes relating to: Receiving claims, POD's, DRN's and upliftment's from customers as well as pallet Processing credits and claims correctly.
Handing relevant documentation to the pallet controller.
Weighing returned stock and compare against the claims.
Reporting any anomalies relating to claims to the warehouse manager to resolve.
2.To ensure effective health, safety, environmental and risk management as well as compliance by: Train on SOP's and perform on job observations .
Discuss issues in the Invocom to ensure awareness and understanding.
Checking correct implementation of HSER policies, procedures and practices .
Implementing waste and loss control practices.
Ensuring legal compliance/ best practices through supervising team to ensure safe work .Practices and good housekeeping To ensure continuous improvement of the debriefing process and team performance through: Supporting Warehouse manager to create a culture of learning and continuous improvement in the Invocom.
Tracking performance against target.
Identifying areas needing cost reduction, improvement or corrective action.
Adherence to all management SOP's and controls, managing resourcing schedules, shift rosters and overtime costs.
Implements and monitors corrective action with team.

To support plant asset management through routine checking of assets and reporting any noncompliance / issues to the Warehouse manager for resolution.
To ensure compliance and adherence to the requirements of Premier Food Safety standards, policies and procedures through: Training team on operational guidelines & good housekeeping practices.
