Our client, a reputable blue chip company based in the Mpumalanga (Middelburg area) seeking a Qualified Artisan with the following:

Qualifications / Requirements:
• A minimum qualification of N3 plus a Millwright trade
• At least 3 years crane experience
• Must be competent on frequency Drives, PLC,s and Radio control systems
• Fault finding on all aspects of crane related equipment is crucial.
• Sound knowledge of OHS act and Working at Heights
• Be able to effectively communicate in English (oral & written)
• Find innovative ways to continually make improvements
• Attention to detail is specific requirements for this position.
• The applicant should be a motivated self-starter who can solve problems independently.
• Will be required to work independently as well as in a team.
• Be able to work under pressure to ensure strict deadlines are met.
• Will be required to carry out standby duties. And working overtime as requested

Key Performance Areas:
• Attending to all maintenance aspects of cranes , service hoists and lifters on site
• Attending to Crane related breakdowns.
• Must be able to perform individually in all aspects of the job criteria.
• Responsible for maintenance and refurbishment of spares to repair breakdowns.
• Investigate root cause of breakdown and make improvements where possible.
• Give adequate and accurate feedback to supervisor.
• Responsible for accurate feedback and completion of job cards.
• Manage work list and plan work for shutdown opportunities for equipment. Improvement.
