Job Description
Supervise the end-to-end production process, including filling, drying, packing, wrapping, and labelling of all boerewors/sausage, burgers, meatballs, and pets mince.
Main Duties & Responsibilities ProductionResponsible for boerewors/sausage production processDevelop, review, and implement efficient and effective procedures and processes to optimize productionResponsible for the delivery of products according to a set standard, at a reasonable cost and productivityStock control management (stock rotation)Ensure product meets all customer requirements especially but not limited to product appearance, packing, and labellingOversee that hygiene standards are applied throughout all processes and proceduresResponsible for the application of the correct selection criteria and quality standards (e.g. neatness; sequence etc.) of labellingEnsure that all procedures are implemented in accordance with legal requirements e.g. hygieneReport all non-conformances (quality and maintenance) to immediate manager and apply effective remedial action according to company proceduresPeople SupervisionSupervise and control subordinate's activities to ensure daily production targets are metSupervise time and attendance of all subordinatesEnsure disciplinary procedures are applied adequatelyAssure stable employee relations by managing conflict and creating a positive and performing working environmentEducational RequirementsGrade 12Relevant Tertiary qualification advantageousExperience And Skills Required3 - 5 years manufacturing plant / meat production experienceUnderstanding of Meat Industry & environment (highly advantageous)FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIESProcess managementTechnical skillsSystems orientedDecision qualityPlanning skillsSlaughtering techniques / skillKnowledge of MP environmentComputer literacyPOPIABy Submitting Your CV, You Confirm That:
