The Cottages Manager will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing a small team, and driving financial success through effective budgeting, marketing, and operational oversight.
If you have a passion for hospitality, a knack for seamless operations, and the ability to foster a welcoming environment, this role offers a perfect blend of hands-on management and strategic planningMinimum Requirements:Degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field preferredProven experience as a Hotel Manager or relevant roleMinimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality, ideally in small hotels, inns, or B&BsStrong understanding of hotel management best practicesExcellent leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsFriendly and welcoming demeanorDetail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work under pressureFlexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as requiredFinancial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial managementProficiency in marketing and sales, with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsDuties and Responsibilities:Manage reservations, cancellations, and guest inquiriesEnsure guest satisfaction through high-quality service, room maintenance, and meal oversightImplement hotel policies and ensure compliance with relevant lawsSupervise and schedule staff, including housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, and casual personnelConduct regular staff meetings and provide performance feedbackDevelop and manage budgets, control costs, and maximize revenueSupervise invoicing and financial record-keepingManage inventory and order supplies as neededDevelop and implement marketing strategies to attract guestsDevelop and implement marketing strategies to attract guests, including online and offline promotionsBuild relationships with local businesses and tourism agencies to increase bookingsMonitor guest reviews and feedback on various platforms, addressing issues and enhancing the guest experienceMonitor guest reviews and build relationships with local businessesOversee maintenance and repair of the B&B to ensure the property is in excellent conditionEnsure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulationsPlease do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.Kontak Recruitment Disclaimer:Equal opportunity: All backgrounds are welcomed, with no bias.
