Responsible for stock management and production costing. Reporting to the Financial Manager you will also be responsible to oversee the day-to-day production transactions involving all stock related items. Responsibilities: Maintaining and managing manufacturing software: · Managing WIP and FG value. · Update standard costs in the BOMs · Ensuring that accurate feedback is given, and WO closed daily. (Striving for real-time data) · Maintenance of BOMs · Administration of SAP users and user training. · Constantly Reviewing standard and actual cost for inaccuracies. · SAP administrator Inventory management: · Coordinate and conduct physical inventory counts. · Investigate stock variances and managing stock accuracy. · Stock management improvement initiatives (action plan, delivery bookies and Stock management SOP). · Striving for accurate stock information. · SAP user training (stock transfers, adjustments and inventory reports) · Participate in inventory counts and review inventory scrapping and adjustments, aiming to minimize such activities and maintain strong business controls. Production analysis: · Maintaining, reviewing and creating production reports according to production performance measures and needs. · Report on breakeven points by products and work centers. · Report on margins by product and division. · Reporting on periodic variances and their causes, focusing specifically on spending variances. · Analyze changes in production design, manufacturing methods and raw materials to determine effect on costs. · Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products. · Construct and monitor data accumulation systems. Reporting process: Define and develop reporting structures to monitor and evaluate plant performance for monthly reporting cycle of A bachelors in commerce with business management as a major subject. At least two years appropriate experience as Cost accountant/Controller CIMA desirable
