Agricultural company in Frankfort, Free State are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain costing recordsProject costingGenerate costing reportsDevelop and maintain costing modelsMonitor purchase price varianceStock evaluation at month-endAssist in the budget and forecast process with pricing structuresAssist with stock countsCompile monthly management reportsEnsure daily posting of production & transfer ordersAssist all departments with IT related enquiriesApproval of General journals & payments on ad-hoc basisMaintain inventory item setup on NAVISIONMonitor & rapport production efficiency on weekly basis
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12BCom AccountingCIMA qualification will serve as recommendationCompleted SAICA articles3 years relevant experience within the Cost Accounting fieldStrong analytical, numeracy and interpersonal skillsGood computer literacy, with the ability to function at an advanced level in ExcelAbility to function independently, in a team and accept responsibility
