About the roleThe Corporate Security Coordinator in Elandsfontein, South Africa will be responsible for the Corporate Security strategies and programs at the facility; identifying, developing, implementing, and sustaining enterprise-wide security processes at the site and business in South Africa to reduce risk, manage crises, respond to incidents, assist with investigations, and limit liability in all areas under her responsibility.
The position is responsible for ensuring that the Reckitt manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, warehouses, onsite and offsite commercial head office have a secure and safe working environment and to safeguard all operations from external security threats as well as from internal wrongdoings by monitoring security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and alarms, and promptly responding to any identified issues or alarms.
Investigate and report on safety and security incidents, including accidents, theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access, and recommend corrective actions. This position reports to the Regional Security Manager Africa Continent.
Your responsibilitiesDevelop strategies to assess and mitigate risk, manage crises, and ensure operational continuity.Oversee security systems and processes for Reckitt Elandsfontein, including guard force, access control, CCTV, and alarms.Validate contract deployments for Elandsfontein and Waterfall Midrand.Manage physical security systems' development, implementation, and testing, ensuring proper installation and maintenance.Conduct security risk assessments at Elandsfontein and third-party sites.Maintain and monitor security processes, policies, and related technologies (VMS, access control, alarms).Develop and implement security awareness programs, best practices, policies, SOPs, and Work Instructions.Monitor manned guarding operations and address issues at Elandsfontein and Waterfall Midrand.Maintain effective relationships with Elandsfontein site management, employees, and contractors.Manage manned guarding and CCTV controllers, ensuring up-to-date training.Develop and maintain risk-based, consequence-driven security services.Liaise with local law enforcement and regulatory agencies.Responsible for 24-hour crisis response at Elandsfontein.The experience we're looking forPSiRA Registered as a Grade A professional with CCTV Certification.FMCG CCTV Control Room and manufacturing facility experience.Fluent in English (speaking and writing).Skilled in writing/implementing security reports.High ethics with demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.Communicate and provide detailed feedback/updates to the Regional Security Manager on all incidents.
