It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!The digital copywriter has to produce and conceptualise all digital marketing copy for all Pick n Pay digital marketing channels including the Pick n Pay website, electronic mailers, SMSs, social media, paid media assets, etc. This role works closely with the digital designers to ensure the digital brand plan is adhered to.This role will require you to work closely with other internal stakeholders e.g., Social media manager, project managers, etc. In addition, this role requires someone who is a strong conceptual thinker who has a good grasp of the digital landscape in SA and abroad.Minimum requirements5 years experience in a digital copywriter roleRetail experience would be preferableRelevant Diploma or related qualificationProficient in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Internet and OutlookCompetenciesMust be timeousMust be detail-orientatedHave excellent command of the English language, with sound spelling and grammar skillsAbility to work under pressureFlair for being creative and originalAbility to cope with ever-changing retail environmentMust be able to work well in a team, have good people skills and be able to work independentlyStrong problem-solving skillsWriting clear, grammatically-correct, creative copy for all Pick n Pay channels and platforms in line with the target audience. This includes writing copy for social media channels and paid media elements.Ensure all copy meets the business objective it aims to achieve.Assist with developing creative ideas for campaigns and other content.Assist with digital content strategy including but not exclusive to social media content.Research topics when required to enhance the copy.Liaising with internal stakeholders and interpreting their briefs and overseeing campaign copy from production stage to completion.Proofreading and amending all copy where necessary.To work on several different campaigns at the same time, often under pressure and to tight deadlines.Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the copy and content is 100% correct.Set-up and improve on copy style guides for the Pick n Pay brand.Closing Date: 10 September 2024If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!Discover who we are
