Continuous Improvement Coordinator

A well established organization is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join the ContinuousImprovement department. This position is based in Pietermaritzburg.Responsibilities:Drive Continuous Improvement in a lean manufacturing area.Facilitate the deployment of Visual management methodologies in the areas.Lead Lean six sigma Projects.Reduce wastage through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles.Facilitate the use of the following Services where required:Time StudiesMulti-moment AnalysisWaste WalksValue stream MappingProcess MappingLead and facilitate the effective use of Statistical Process Control and other statistical methods in the area to improve Process Control.Lead and Facilitate Process Control System in the areas to improve quality.Requirements:A National Diploma/BTech or Degree in Industrial Engineering.Knowledge of Lean manufacturing would be an advantage.Preferable 4 Years working experience.Competent in MS office programs.Good conflict management skills.Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills.Service driven, innovative, reliable, assertive and strong customer focus.Able to work under pressure.Sound understanding of engineering principles and processes.Closing date: 15th October 2024Interested candidates are encouraged to apply for the role either directly online or by sending their application through to ****** .
