COMMUNITY SCHEME MANAGER - DURBAN NORTH / UMHLANGA
A well-known Property Management company, in Sunningdale, is seeking a dynamic Community Scheme Manager to oversee the legal, administrative, and financial management of Sectional Title Schemes.
As a Community Scheme Manager, you will play a vital role in the Sectional Title legislative compliance and management.
Your job tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Manage property operations and develop strategies to enhance property value.
Attend scheduled meetings dealing with complex maintenance and service providers.
Preparation of general meetings in line with the Sectional Title Act and compliance with usage of standard documentation and notices as approved by the company.
Financial management and collections of levies, creditor payments.
Attend to complex employee management.
Liaising with trustees and directors, providing guidance as to compliance with the STSMA/STA, CSOS legislation.
Ensuring that all complexes within the portfolio are insured and premiums are paid on time.
Continuous enhancement of knowledge of SA property laws.
Ensuring that compliant contractors are servicing the complexes and are paid timeously.
Continuous liaison and guidance to trustees and directors in relation to complex matters and financial reporting.
Statutory notice compliance and awareness of quorum requirements relevant to meetings.
Minimum Qualifications required by the position:
Tertiary qualification graduate (ideally commerce, law, finance, property studies).
Admission as an Attorney preferable.
Sectional Title Scheme Management Certificate will be advantageous.
NQF level 4 Real Estate qualification would be advantageous.
Minimum Experience required by the position:
Previous experience in Property Management, specifically sectional title management, and has skillset and knowledge of the following: STA 95 of 1986, STSMA 8 of 2011, CSOS Act 9 of 2011.
Looking for a mature person over 30 years of age with strong admin, communication, and correspondence skills.
Must have good conflict management skills, excellent project management, and time management skills.
Experience in general and advanced skill in Microsoft Office applications.
Must be able to work unsupervised and in a pressurized environment.
Market-related salary offered in relation to experience.
Drivers License (Required) and motor vehicle.
