Responsibilities: Lead the internal audit function and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with regulations.
Prepare SARS – VAT and PAYE returns.
Payment of invoices.
Manage insurance policy updates.
Manage and oversee the entire finance function of the company.
Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and ensure compliance.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and technology.
Conduct financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support company growth objectives and maintain the financial health of the company.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insightful reports and recommendations.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management accounts.
Manage and prepare the company's budget.
Provide financial reports and interpret information to Senior Management while recommending further courses of action.
Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
Perform financial analysis and risk assessments to identify opportunities for improvements and cost savings.
Manage assets effectively.
Qualifications: Registered CA (SA).
BS/MA degree in Finance or Accounting.
5 - 10 years post-completed articles experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Business Cloud).
Experience in an accounting role, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
