Candidate Requirements: Must have a formal chef qualification Must have 5 years of previous experience in a 5 lodge environment Maintaining a high standard of Kitchen Hygiene Ordering, stock-taking and control of the kitchen Maintaining and overseeing all kitchen staff Staff training and development Passion for food and the food experience Ability to lead a team of people effectively and to think and act creatively within a team The ability to motivate staff to consistently deliver Ability to work flexibly and have strong management skills, day-to-day, and long-term Well-spoken and presented individual who is able to work under pressure and think on their feet Outgoing, friendly, and confident individual Creative, professional and team player attitude Live-in position with a work cycle of 45 days on 15 days off, and 15 annual days leave. Meals, uniform, en suite accommodation, and transport to Hoedspruit for leave days provided.
