Reference: Dur000168-Lelet-1A well-established renewable energy company requires a buyer to procure electronics.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLiaise with suppliers on a regular basis to ensure timeous delivery of ordered stock.Implement, monitor, and update procurement programme/schedule.Report on the coordination of stock deliveries to management teams.Record and manage tender enquiries and quotations.Manage all supplier-related issues, including payment terms and delivery.Issue purchase orders.Manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory.Build stock models using sales data over periods.Work with sales to forecast demand and meet orders in a timely manner.Analyze and implement procurement processes, identifying opportunities to streamline and reduce costs.Manage and control inventory to minimize the risk of obsolete stock.Liaise with freight forwarders for clearing and costings of freight.Facilitate stock takes.Add new products and maintain items on the IT system.Work closely with suppliers conducting analysis of demand/supply.
