Hire Resolve's client is seeking a Business Unit Head to direct and control their business operations. A Business Unit Head is responsible for giving strategic guidance and direction for the company to achieve its financial vision, mission and long-term goals. The Business Unit Head reports, directly to the Cluster Head.
Key Responsibilities:
Business development including research and implement new initiatives to drive revenue, lower operating costs while maintain quality products that are competitive, all while delivery excellent customer support.
Keep all relevant stakeholders informed of developments with company's objectives.
Ensure employees move in the same strategic direction to achieve its mission.
Remain close to all stakeholders including the cluster heads, employees, clients, key-decision makers and external service suppliers.
Manage resources, including the attracting, hiring and retention of talent.
Manage and report on the effective implementation of a marketing strategy to maintain market relevance and promote products and services to increase sales within area of responsibility
Manage key personnel, clients and service providers.
Oversee and develop a team of multi-skilled individuals setting clear expectations, empowering and mentoring employees, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring continuous improvement, and aligning performance with business goals and leadership values.
Participate in budgeting, align individual targets with national objectives, monitor project progress within budget and timelines, and ensure effective management of all associated budgets.
Minimum Requirements:
Engineering Degree or B.Tech, Professionally qualified, and Post Grad management courses.
Preferred-BSc. Engineering Degree and Professionally Registered Engineer, Post Grad management courses
Function related experience: 5 years'
Leading teams: 10 years'
Project experience: 15 years'
Other experience: 15 years' in Energy and Power Management industry
Established business management track-record and experience in a complex business/commercial environment.
Proven ability to develop business strategy and objectives
High degree of professional ethics and integrity
Excellent judgement and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
