Business Operations Coordinator - Gauteng, PretoriaAre you a natural-born leader with the vision, drive and tenacity to lead a team at the forefront of innovation in the mining, industrial and water industries? Your impeccable people skills and ability to optimise day-to-day operations and coordinate activities should contribute to the alignment of strategic objectives across the interrelated companies.As the strategic right hand to the CEO, you will be expected to:Structure, lead, mentor and manage teams to deliver on all short and long-term business objectivesShape trajectory by setting and helping to deliver on business and departmental goals, objectives, and policiesDrive growth across multiple divisions by spearheading the strategic direction of our four respective sub-companiesEngage with all stakeholders and action their requirements on an ongoing basisOptimise and streamline business processes, while improving cost effectiveness where necessaryProvide in-depth feedback on the group's financial, technical and HR mattersPlan, manage and execute key strategic projects and activities from the get-go to roll-outPerform businesses data and workflow analysis, identify inefficiencies and build enhancement strategies accordinglyCollaborate across the businesses for the smooth-running of all business operationsDevelop and manage projects, timelines and budgets to meet deadlinesDocument processes and procedures and improve on these, wherever necessaryBe a skilled negotiator of both employment and business contractsSKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:The courage to roll up your sleeves and tackle complex challengesNatural leadership skills to direct projects, guide your colleagues and make big decisionsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsLaser-sharp time management in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentSolid organisational skills to handle numerous responsibilities across different businessesInnovative problem solving on-the-fly, handled with agility and cool-headednessBeing analytically, financially minded and technically proficientThe ability to focus and draw on vast amounts of information across multiple business lines, at any given timeMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Finance; andno less than 10 years of on-the-job experience as a General Manager, CEO, Head of Department (OR SIMILAR), that demonstrates a track record of success.Experience in a more technical environment such as mining/manufacturing/ production as there needs to be a general understanding of the challenges of the industry and its complexities.Desired Skills:coordinatoroperationsengineertechnical
