This role reports directly to the Managing Director (MD) and requires someone who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new sales leads, providing administrative support for proposals, developing business relationships, and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. This will require strategic planning, researching new revenue opportunities, and proficiency in delivering compelling service pitches.

Minimum Qualifications:Highly motivated, dynamic, detail-oriented, people-person.Fluent in written and verbal English communication.Ability to work effectively under pressure.Excellent communication and writing skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations for existing and prospective customers.Creativity, with the ability to develop fresh ideas and strategies.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage difficult people effectively.Ability to multitask, complete several tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Ability to engage in research for new products, services, or geographies for the company.Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.Results-driven focus with strong analytical capability.Ability to innovate and simplify current processes and practices.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a similar position.B.Sc. in Engineering or related fields.Strong direct sales skills with a proven track record of performance.Experience working with clients.High affinity for data and technology, with the ability to dive deep into opportunities and processes.2-5 years' experience - not necessarily in renewables.Job Responsibilities:Analyze existing and potential markets and geographies to identify business development opportunities.Conduct ongoing market research.Lead and coordinate the preparation and implementation of proposals for complex technical assignments.Track and report on pipeline and the status of proposals.Establish and maintain a customer relations management database.Develop and maintain client relationships and follow up on sales opportunities.Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed.Develop and assist in marketing campaigns and trade shows to increase the company's brand recognition.Gather useful information from customer and competitor data.Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.Provide administrative and logistical support, including organizing meetings and conference calls with potential partners, staff, and within the business development (BD) team.Write BD-related materials including marketing one-pagers, capacity statements, and other thought pieces, as well as proposal sections such as CV formatting, past performance references, and institutional capacity sections.Contribute to the quality of written content, including proofreading, formatting, and editing documents.
