This role will work with various closely related concrete variables, requiring an understanding of the theory or practices underpinning inter-related functional processes.Job PurposeThe purpose of this role is to ensure that all internal and external events are efficiently and successfully planned, coordinated and executed. The role will be responsible for liaising with various internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the requirements of various company events.Key Accountabilities and OutputsEvents Planning and CoordinationLiaise with relevant internal stakeholders to fully understand event requirements.Successfully plan, coordinate and run all internal and external events in a timely and cost-efficient manner.Negotiate and reach favorable agreements with subcontractors around venue booking, catering, design and printing of promotional materials, etc.Ensure events are planned and carried out in line with the Beverage Company Brand guidelines, policies and procedures.General Operational ContributionsEnsure adherence to all applicable Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Standards.Actively participate in operational planning and reporting processes.Drive continuous improvement through streamlining and optimizing relevant operational practices, processes and tools.Adhere to operational and financial frameworks of practices, processes, standards and controls.Control costs and take necessary actions to mitigate any financial risks or non-compliance.Qualifications And ExperienceGrade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4 (Essential).Up to 4 years experience (Operational Execution).Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, SAP, Email, MS PowerPoint.Driver's Licence code 8/10.Key QualitiesCommunicationRoutine communication in connection with instructions, requests or normal work tasks.Problem SolvingProactive identification of functional problems related to a specific process or policy, determine cause and impact, and choose the best alternative to solve the problem based on guidelines provided and an understanding of the theory or practices underpinning the problem.Relationships MaintainedOthers outside the organisation.Behavioural CompetenciesAccountabilityAccomplishes assigned tasks and goals: takes necessary actions to keep progress against objectives on track.Prepares a roadmap for success.Ensures that all who need to know are clear about the plan.Takes full responsibility for own actions and outcomes, including mistakes.Always acts in the company's best interest, regardless of whether it is difficult or unpopular.CollaborationHelps others with their work.Meets commitments to team members or others in the organisation.
