To be part of the journey, follow the steps below: To see what life at Capitec is all about and complete a short assessment, please click here!Once you have completed the above, finalize your application by clicking apply below.ResponsibilitiesTo manage the operational functioning of the branch efficiently and effectively in accordance with set standards and processes.To execute the Business and People implementation plans in the branch in order to:maintain client service excellence utilizing the Global One product offering.build a healthy, high-performance team.ExperienceMinimum: At least 2 - 3 years of client service experience within a retail/financial services/banking environment.1 - 2 years of experience in a supervisory/team leader role within a retail/financial services/banking environment.Experience coaching and developing team members and overseeing activities of a branch or team.Ideal: 4 years of supervisory/first line management experience.Experience of building and maintaining key relationships at a management level.Experience in an operational management role within a retail/financial services/banking environment.Qualifications (Minimum)Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational.National Certificate in Banking or Similar.Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)National Higher Certificate in Banking.A relevant tertiary qualification in Similar or Commerce.KnowledgeMinimum: Knowledge and understanding of:
Leadership and people management principles.Business performance drivers at this level.Banking products and services.Business Processes (Marketing/Financial Management/Human Resource Management).Ideal: Internal business processes and procedures.Organisational Policies, including (but not limited to) the Credit Policy.SkillsCommunication Skills.Planning, organising and coordination skills.Interpersonal & Relationship management Skills.Commercial Thinking Skills.Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).Conditions of EmploymentClear criminal and credit record.Must have fingerprints which are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank's internal electronic banking system.Capitec is committed to diversity and, where feasible, all appointments will support the achievement of our employment equity goals.
