Based in the heart of Blackheath, Cape Town, the company values deadlines and collaboration in its pursuit of excellence.Minimum RequirementsDegree or Diploma in Financial Accounting (BAcc, BCom, or equivalent) or a related field.Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office (experience with SYSPRO is a plus).Own reliable transportation.Roles and ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping up to balance sheet level, including cashbook processing and journal entries.Performing bank reconciliations.Conducting general ledger reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.Managing logbooks for the company fleet and vehicles.Reconciling and submitting monthly VAT201 and EMP201 reports.Assisting with year-end closure and preparing annual audit files.Overseeing creditor functions, including executing the monthly credit run.Capturing purchase orders.Handling all other financial and administrative tasks related to this position.Closing DateSubmissions for this vacancy will close on 02 September 2024, however, you will still have the opportunity to submit your CV for this position till 26 September 2024.Please NoteThank you for submitting your CV to Marvel Placement Consultants.
