Beautician/Laser Therapist Job Description:
Accountable to: Studio owners
Working hours: Monday & Tuesdays, Thursdays to Saturdays 09:00-17:00
Location: Somerset West Central
Salary: Basic plus commission
Our brand new laser studio is looking for a beautician to offer our clients a variety of cosmetology procedures, namely laser hair removal and facials.
The ideal candidate must have a certificate of qualification from an accredited academy; however, training for the use of our specialised laser machine will be provided. We also require a candidate with strong communication and customer service skills. It is important that our clients feel welcomed, valued, and comfortable at all times.
Essential Duties and Competency Requirements

Certificate from an accredited academy
Greet clients as they come in for their procedure and guide them through any admin and consent processes prior to their appointment
Perform hair removal and similar procedures as well as facials as requested
Inform clients on how to recover from each procedure and how to care for their skin
Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe workspace
Document all appointments
Possess excellent customer service skills
Exhibit a strong work ethic
Basic computer skills
Answering phone calls, emails, WhatsApp messages, and making/facilitating appointments
Be a conversationalist who also knows how to listen
