Salary: £50,000-60,000; Pension; Life Assurance; Employee Assistance Programme; Cycle to Work Scheme; 25 days holiday to start; Free refreshments.We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Freight Business Development Manager to cover the Northwest territory.Our client is a highly successful global freight forwarder with an established international network, offering customers exceptional service at competitive prices.Your role will be to identify new business opportunities within the freight forwarding sector. Your main responsibilities include:Creating and implementing an annual business plan to achieve your budget requirements.Developing agreed markets and new products to increase profitable turnover through diversification of services.Implementing processes for prospect management and customer follow-up to maximize sales penetration, profitability, and customer loyalty.Meeting a new business target of a minimum of 3 times salary and 8 appointments per week.Transitioning new customers by completing a report outlining their key requirements, services, and prices.In order to apply for this role, you will have experience selling a multi-modal freight forwarding service. You will be self-motivated, sales-driven, and possess a proven track record in sales.
