Assistant Production Manager - Corporate Fashion

Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Assistant Production Manager, you will:Support the Head of Production in planning and managing daily schedules to ensure smooth operations.Monitor production processes and work closely with the team to improve efficiency and productivity.Uphold Image Makers' high-quality standards, ensuring all products meet specifications and safety regulations.Supervise, train, and motivate production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.Troubleshoot production issues quickly and effectively, implementing innovative solutions.Assist in compiling production reports and analyzing performance metrics to enhance future outcomes.Qualifications & Experience Required:3+ years of proven experience in clothing manufacturing, preferably in a factory manager role.Expertise in softwear such as shirts, blouses, suits, dresses, skirts, and pants.Knowledge of jackets and coats is a plus.A strong understanding of garment production processes and quality control practices.Proficiency in production management software or excellent computer skills.Fluency in English; knowledge of Afrikaans or Xhosa is advantageous.Certifications in production management will be considered an advantage.Skills & Attributes:Line balancing skills are essential to maintain workflow efficiency.Excellent time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.Confidence in making decisions and the ability to act quickly under pressure.An eye for detail and a focus on producing high-quality work.A team player with a willingness to adapt to new techniques and technologies.
