As an Assistant Lodge Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering unforgettable experiences to our guests while managing the daily operations of our stunning lodge.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the seamless day-to-day running of the lodge, ensuring all guest expectations are not just met but exceeded.
Host guests with warmth and professionalism, creating lasting memories.
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly administrative tasks while maintaining strict stock control.
Effectively handle staff conflicts and guest complaints with grace and efficiency.
Foster strong relationships with staff and guests alike, embodying our high standards of service excellence.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
At least 3 years of proven experience in remote luxury lodge management.
Relevant tertiary education in Hospitality/Tourism is advantageous.
Strong background in Lodge Food & Beverage management (qualifications preferred).
Proficiency in Office & Outlook, along with booking systems.
Exceptional communication skills in English and Afrikaans, with an eye for detail in guest service.
A hardworking, co-operative, and hands-on approach to every task.
Package: Monthly salary + accommodation, wifi, meals on duty, laundry on duty, 21/7 cycle.
