Assistant Food and Beverage Manager – Fine DiningOur Client is looking for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager – Fine Dining, located in Pretoria.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide quality service to customers and colleagues, maintaining food and beverage services and support facilities for restaurants and banquets according to hotel and departmental standards.Maintain the restaurant's revenue, profitability, and quality goals.Ensure efficient restaurant operation while maintaining high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.Lead all aspects of the business.Deliver a high-quality menu and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service.Ensure an efficient Fine Dining experience including wine pairing.Oversee the dining room, check in with customers, and balance seating capacity.Maintain knowledge of the employee handbook, policy, and procedure manual.Provide high-quality and consistent service to both internal and external customers.Maintain hygiene in back of house areas, kitchens, and storerooms.Adhere to a high level of cleanliness in front of house and back of house food and beverage areas.Ensure that operating equipment is properly maintained and secured.Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and appearance.Work safely, adhering to all hotel health and safety precautions.Attend hotel and/or departmental meetings and training sessions as necessary.Maintain a cleaning schedule for fridge seals, cupboards, glasses, coffee machines, and general areas.Dispose of waste before, after, and during events or the opening and closing cleaning down procedures.Cooperate with other departments to develop and maintain effective working relationships.Coordinate daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations.Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.Be responsible for restaurant equipment.Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.Job Knowledge & Skills RequiredProven knowledge of a Fine Dining Restaurant and excellent wine knowledge.Management skills and experience in both front and back of the house.Familiarity with restaurant management software.Desired Experience & QualificationMinimum Qualifications: Hospitality Diploma.Package & RemunerationR20 000 - R22 000 CTC.Interested?Please follow the link below to apply on Flink Recruitment (ONLY APPLICANTS WHO APPLY WITH THE ADVERTISED LINK BELOW WILL BE CONSIDERED AND CONTACTED FOR THIS VACANCY).
