Area Manager - Northern Cape RegionReference: RST001771-WHN-1A well-known SMEIP Construction Company is looking to fill the role of an Area Manager in the Northern Cape Region.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Area Manager is expected to lead and manage the organisation to effectively manage, implement and monitor the development of the organisation/branch. The Key performance areas are but not limited to:Business DevelopmentClient RelationshipsSupplier ManagementContract/Project ManagementOperations ManagementSHEQ ManagementQualifications & ExperienceTrade Certificate - Electrical or InstrumentationQualification in Project Management will be an advantageRegistration with a professional body would be an advantageMinimum 5 - 7 years experience at a management levelExperience in the Construction industry is essentialMining experience will be a preferenceWorking knowledge of contracts used in the Construction Environment (NEC and FIDIC)Experience in estimating and tendering in electrical and instrumentationProven experience in business development/salesProven experience in developing and implementing policies and proceduresValid driver's licenseSkills and KnowledgeExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOperational managementStrategic thinking and analytical skillsExcellent computer skillsAbility to communicate and operate at all levelsMust have knowledge of the mines in the Northern Cape regionEstablished Client base in the Northern Cape region will be an added advantagePackage & RemunerationR60000 - Monthly plus Company Vehicle
