Job Title: Area Manager – Seed ProductionFarm Manager SA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager – Seed Production to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and management of our seed crops.Key Responsibilities:Technical Planning: Develop and implement technical plans for seed crop production, including crop selection, soil preparation, and irrigation management.Planning and Coordination: Coordinate with our agricultural team to ensure seamless planning and execution of seed crop production.Quality Control, Compliance, and Technical Assistance: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and provide technical assistance to our agricultural team as needed.Logistics Management: Manage the logistics of seed crop production, including transportation and storage of seeds.Data Management and Analysis: Collect and analyze data on seed crop production, including yield, quality, and crop health.Team Leadership and Training (HR): Provide leadership and training to our agricultural team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.Financial and Budget Management: Manage the financial and budget aspects of seed crop production, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Client Management: Develop and maintain relationships with our clients to ensure their needs are met and they are satisfied with our services.We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about agricultural operations and has a strong background in crop management and production.
