Job Purpose: The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple divisions and subsidiaries to prepare comprehensive, quality credit applications for approval. They will play a key role in managing the credit portfolio, proactively monitoring and addressing potential risks. Additionally, the role involves meeting with clients alongside various teams to understand their financial needs, gather essential information, and ensure each credit application is tailored to the clients situation. Requirements: Minimum Qualification: B Degree in Agricultural Economics Minimum Experience: 5 years experience in a similar role / environment Computer packages: MS Office Syspro (will be advantageous) SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills High level negotiation skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of integrity and ethical standards KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Control the Credit Process: Overall responsible for the credit process from receiving of application to fulfilment Create and Compile Credit Applications: Compile detailed credit applications, including executive summaries, for new facilities and any changes or extensions to existing facilities Conduct risk assessments of the credit portfolio Build Strong Client Relationships: Develop and maintain positive, lasting relationships with clients, ensuring a supportive experience in all interactions Stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and credit products to provide accurate advice Staff Training on Credit Processes: Provide guidance and training to team members on essential credit processes to maintain quality and efficiency Other: Proficient in Afrikaans Own vehicle and valid drivers license Location Based: Ermelo, Mpumalanga 2350 Remuneration: Market Related
