Admin Controller

As an Admin Controller (Supervisor), you will be responsible for managing daily cash handling, overseeing store administration, and ensuring smooth operations at the Cash Desk. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness, support customer service, and step in as the Assistant Manager when needed. As the second in charge after the Store Manager, the Admin Controller plays a key role in keeping the store running efficiently and effectively. Handle daily banking tasks with the Store Manager. Complete morning banking and ensure cash balances correctly. Prepare money for collection by security guards and ensure proper signatures. Keep the drop safe locked, manage the cash float, and store keys securely. Ensure cashiers balance their tills and resolve any discrepancies. Maintain and enforce store administration standards. Complete and file all necessary documents each morning. Update and manage daily reports, particularly Start of Day Reports. Authorise all transactions daily at the 5A level. Regularly check and conduct spot checks on lay-byes. Ensure regular completion of RTS (Return to Supplier) tasks. Conduct daily spot checks on cashiers, aiming for 10 checks per day. Manage daily change requirements for the store. Handle weekly general filing of memos and correspondence. Enter daily data for stock received and sent. Oversee the Cash Desk area and ensure staff have the necessary resources. Maintain daily cleanliness of the office. Ensure the Cash Desk area is clean and organised every day. Assist with customer service as needed. Step in as Assistant Manager when necessary. Perform any additional tasks assigned by management. Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the store.
