Accounts Payable – Assistant Accountant

Forvis Mazars Gauteng is looking for a dynamic individual to join their Accounting Outsourced Team.Your Why?You will be responsible for performing accounts payable processing and vendor reconciliations for multi-national client base.What will your day look like?Prepare and process vendor invoices in SAPProcess and reconcile monthly vendor accounts payableProduce weekly, monthly and quarterly accounts payable reportsResolve queries from vendors and clientManage individual productivity (include completion of timesheets)Foster, build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external clientsWhat makes YOU an ideal candidate?Accounting diploma or equivalent from a reputable institutionAdvanced experience in SAP FI module specifically Vendor Accounting and ReadSoftMin of 5 years experience in a similar roleAdvanced Excel skillsSupervisory and FMCG experience required (non negotiable)Strong reconciliation abilities (non negotiable)What additional competencies will position YOU for success?Adhering to principles and valuesRelating and networkingApplying professional/specialist/technical expertiseTeamworkPresenting and communicating informationInformation gathering and problem analysisPlanning and organisingQuality and detail orientationClient focusResults driven/achieving work goals and objectives
